I brought my truck in for an emissions problem. I signed papers when I got there saying that of the issues weren't covered by warrenty there would be a $100 per issue diagnostic. After 3 days of it sitting there i was told that nothing was covered by warrenty and it was now $300 to pick my truck up. On top of that i was told it needed a forced regen for the emissions system to correct the problem. I decided to bring it home to fix this issues myself. After getting it home and opening the hood I found that the air box for the filter was not attached and the sensor right past it not connected. I also checked the map sensor and found that to be the whole issue and you all never check it. When I replaced the map sensor everything worked as it should. Horrible experience and I would expect more from a dealership that big.

My experience at the dealership and with Nick was great. When I called to schedule my appointment; my experience with the customer service agent was underwhelming. She was not personable and she came off as “Having an attitude.” When I told her my reason for scheduling she looked my VIN up and told me that the issue with my car was not covered under recall; despite me telling her that I received a letter in the mail about the issue. I proceeded to schedule an appt with another sells associate; thankful I did because when I dropped my vehicle off, Nick informed me that as long as the inspection indicated, the service was covered due to the recall.

It took almost 2 hours to get an oil change, with an appointment. I can go to any oil change shop without an appointment and get my oil changed in 30 minutes. I have been in six times, to get my oil changed, and each time there has been a greasy handprint left on the inside of the car, above the window on the driver's side. They need to either wash their hands or wear gloves before entering the vehicles. This is all totally unacceptable!

Jose was great! He was very helpful and worked very hard to accommodate every think I asked for. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. He spent most of the day with me picking out different cars and finding the perfect one. The sales manager (I can’t remember his name, but he did have a lot of tattoos and one on this neck) though was not the most pleasant to deal with. He was very pushy towards a car I wasn’t very interested in and had a lot of excuses for the car that I actually wanted to see. He also told me the car was “out of my budget” and that I “actually needed to read” when talking about the rebates that were on the Buick I wanted to see, even though I qualified for all of them. Also, he never once said congrats or anything along those lines once I did buy the car I wanted even though he passed by me multiple times. That part wasn’t a huge deal but just seems like something a sales manager would do. I even walked into the wrong room on accident at one point following Jose and all he said was “did you need something?”. If I only had to talk to/deal with Jose that day I would have been completely fine, but the sales manager made the day a little less enjoyable.

Replacement bumper piece ordered. Two weeks eta for arrival but that appeared to be just a guess. Expectation for how long the replacement will take also was unclear. Separately I shared with technician I noticed some vibration when accelerating from stopped position. He did not detect anything. I am not convinced. So experience not a 10 with car or service thus far.

I brought my 2019 Chevy Silverado in with transmission issues. I bought the truck from the Independence dealership in Nov. of 2023. It was still under the 5 year 100,000 warrenty. Chris was great to work with. The only complaint I have for the whole process is being charged a "doc fee." I shouldn't have to pay an extra fee for your people to do thier job. Not a great customer service practice to charge and pass down these bogus fees, especially to peeole who have bought their vehicles from you.

We had out Buick picked up from my wife's work early in the morning. The porters did an excellent job transporting the vehicle to and from the dealership. Unfortunately, the Service Department was in no rush to change the Oil and Rotate the Tires until late in the day. My wife's shift at work ended before the car was returned. She had to hitch a ride home with a friend. My wife was highly inconvenienced by the slow service. She called the Service Manager to see what caused the hold up. No answer. She left a message. It has been three days and still no call back. We had much higher expectations for this dealership. Now we are starting to question our loyalty. Please do a better job of communicating with your customers. Ghosting them is not professional. Strongly considering cancelling my service plan and taking my business elsewhere.

I wrote a $74k check to purchase a 2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate. The experience at the dealership was okay but didn't appreciate the continuous hard sell on financing when I already accepted the dealerships price and told them I was paying cash. Then, I was told I couldn't drive it home because they had to install a type of package. I was told it would be ready Tuesday or Wednesday. I received a text from the salesman at 4:54pm on Tuesday telling me the car will be ready at 11:00am the next day. I responded and told him I'll be there midday to pick up. I had a coworker drop me off at noon only to find out the car wasn't ready and it would be a few more hours. I arranged my entire client schedule around this pickup and was left in a very difficult position. Then, the Sales Manager came out and told me that it would be at least another day because there was a broken module that needed repair. So, as I write this on Thursday morning, I have a loner vehicle from the dealership and no idea when I'll receive my new Acadia. The joy and excitement of buying a new car has been ruined. I felt like as soon as I declined financing options and declined all the other add-ons pitched to me by the Finance Manager, I wasn't important. I was ready to purchase the car within 20 minutes of walking in the door but didn't leave until 4 hours later. Do better! -- Pat Miller

During the repair period, I was informed that I needed to pay for two days of loaner car use since I had it for more than five days. Unfortunately, I don’t have control over how long the repair process takes. When I lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, I purchased five vehicles from McGrath GMC and never had to pay for a loaner vehicle while warranty or repair work was being completed. I’m very pleased with the quality of the work—my truck runs great, the dents are gone, and it looks fantastic—but I’m disappointed that I was charged for a loaner car when the length of the repair wasn’t within my control.

This review is specific to the dealership and not reflective of my salesperson. The mandatory add-on for EXCEL/Nitrogen @ $890 is overpriced, especially since nitrogen in tires is pseudo-science offering dubious benefits and is free at Costco, and door guards are inexpensive online. Instead of marking up unnecessary extras, include them in the car price or be flexible for customers who don’t want them, as this is insulting to your customers. Furthermore, my truck’s tires were underinflated despite the nitrogen fill (32 PSI at delivery, door plate recommends 36 PSI). I remedied this by inflating to proper pressure with FREE NITROGEN AT COSTCO! Such practices are misleading, risk alienating informed buyers, and discourage positive reviews or repeat business.

They said they were running behind and we went in for an oil change regular routine on the truck and we left it 1 o’clock why it takes so long I have no idea but they said that they were behind if we make an appointment for 11 it shouldn’t take two hours to do an oil change and routine check on the truck. I made an appointment for 11AM for an oil change. Drove 30m to the dealer, arrived on time and it took them over 2 hours to provide service. I suspect it would have been even longer if I did not see my Salesman in the waiting room and he helped push them along. If you make an appointment, then the oil change rack(s) should be open and waiting for you to show up and they should be staffed to handle their scheduled appointments. This was my first experience here, so I asked the Service Advisor if this is normal and he said it can be this way depending on the day / time. He also blamed the scheduling system as apparently it constantly overbooks service appointments. He showed no sympathy for my wait; no apology merely handed me the keys and pointed me to my truck. Terrible first experience and I will never return. Interesting when I purchased the truck, the Salesman told me their Service Dept was top notch, and I would be disappointed if I took my truck to my local GMC dealer for service. Couldn't have been more wrong on that one!

Then we got into all the existing issues from Cable Dahmer 103rd St. on my vehicle. Jeff, Grant, and Ryan stepped up like professionals who care about customers who come into their shop. These gentlemen took the time to listen to my ongoing bad experience in purchasing a vehicle from another store in the Cable Dahmer chain, and within a couple of days, they fixed all problems with my vehicle and I was told I have a check on the way to reimburse me for a extended warranty that I already had. This dealership and these men have earned my business and given me a little hope for all Cable Dahmer dealerships, more of the GM’s and sales managers need to follow their lead and treat people with respect and put the customer first.

STAY AWAY!!! I didn't buy the extended warranty. I should have never even bought my GMC Sierra All Terrain it's been a complete piece of shit. With that said the transmission needed replaced ( GM= No quality) a remand 8 speed costs $4,500. I didn't want a remand transmission so I went to the dealership and was quoted $9,000 for a BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION. I approved the work to be done. After reading my bill the dealership charged me $8,700 for a REMAND TRANSMISSION. This is unacceptable I will return to talk with management to refund the full price of the transmission or I'll just sue them for 10× that amount. Save yourself a bunch of money and DO NOT BUY A GM PRODUCT EVER!!

I arrived at 8:15 am, I was there for a oil change. I asked Nicholas Campbell about a squeak in my drive belt. He seemed put out to take a look at it. So he went out looked at the idler pulley and told me that was the issue most likely. He said “he didn’t have the man power to diagnose it on Saturday’s” I said that was fine I just wanted a bid and I’d schedule another time. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and 45 minutes waiting on the oil change. That’s ridiculous should’ve only taken an hour. Not the first time it has taken all morning. Last visit to that particular dealership.

Service advisor went above and beyond. I have a pre paid oil change, I added a sludge preventive which was around$100.00 at check out he asked if I wanted to use my reward points which I didn’t know I had. He walked me through my Buick app to find $80.00 in rewards which lowered the bill to $20.00 I also had a reoccurring message to enter my password when using Apple play. I was not sure which Password to use, He figured it out

I had tires rotated when oil and filter changed. The tires had wrong pressure, should be 80 psi on rear tires and 60 psi on front tires. I checked before leaving and had to have it fixed. I pull a 18,000 pound RV and this is a safety problem.

Spoke with Peris for 3 days about truck, she called when we were driving to the dealership to say that the truck has been sold but they had an identical truck at another dealer they would get. The truck was not the same and missing 2 packages we wanted. When we showed up to the dealer the following day to take possession, after paperwork completed we took possession and they harass not preped the truck; still had all manufacturing stickers on truck and had not been cleaned.

Upon arrival, I checked in and told the advisor (not my advisor I was scheduled with) I had a coupon for oil change/tire rotation for $99. He told me he cant do anything about it since I didn't have the coupon. I noticed on the screen behind him it flashed that coupon price, however, I was able to find it on my phone. After 2 hr wait for oil change/tire rotation, my vehicle was returned with plastic still on seat, paper floor mats, wheel lug key sitting on drivers seat, glove box open. I cleaned it out before I left.
